Binding Keys To Middle Mouse
I searched but didn't find anything. Is it possible to bind something (i.e. a skill slot) to the middle mouse button (on click)? As far as I can tell the entire mouse is hardcoded and it doesn't allow you to bind to it. Is there any way around this? Any software that can allow me to bind a keyboard key to the middle mouse button, but only when guild wars is running?
Thanks. |

I can't get it to work. If you can, let me know. I have the Logitech MX1000 Laser with like 3 extra buttons.

I'm on a Logitech MX518, and although it allows me to remap the buttons (as yours probably will as well) it doesn't allow you to configure them per-application. Basically, you can get it to work, it'll just be a lot of clicking to change it back and forth all the time -_-

I have an eight button mouse and it's really infuriating that I can only set-up the buttons for GW via the mouse's software but then if I want to use it for something else then another re-confiqure is required.

Like Celios said, you can't define them in Guild Wars, but you can use the setpoint software (logitech mouse software) to remap what they do in Windows, and therefore in GW as well.
Works great as long as you don't mind losing some windows functionality, like for example the Application switch button. Remap it from the default to something like "1" for skill 1, or whatever you use for target closest. I remap the sensitivty buttons to skills 1 and 6.. when I use my orders necro I make sure I put vamp and pain at 1 and 6.. I can go entire battles without having to do anything but hit those 2 little buttons on my mouse. Laziness at it's finest |

Hmm, does anyone know of any software LIKE setpoint but that would allow application-exlusive settings?

that' s a hudge difference between a logitech mouse (which I prefer) and a microsoft mouse (which I had had)
with the microsoft software, you can configure each button for each application you use, and that's incredibly nice with the logitech software, you can configure each button, but every apllications will use this configuration I wish logitech change this |

If you dont have the logitech drivers installed GW can allow MX500 style mice to bind, however this is rare and the negatives outway the positives. So its easier to just to assign one of the 8 keys to a keyboard key then bind the keyborad key to the function.
